"Neighborly Views" art exhibit is on view through August

Selected art from the MBHS collection

Our 2025 summer exhibit features over 70 paintings and other artworks of local scenes or by local artists from the MBHS collection, many displayed for the first time. The exhibit, in the Howe Exhibit Hall in the Dr. Moses and Agnes Straw Mason House at 14 Broad Street, is open Thursdays and Fridays from 1 to 4 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon, and other times by appointment.

Helen Morton’s 1990 view of the drying sheds at the Hanover Dowel Mill will be a familiar sight to those who remember when the mill was operating on the corner of Cross Street and Route 2.
