Dear Friends of MBHS:
The Museums of the Bethel Historical Society’s annual meeting is this Thursday (September 3)!

Members and non-members alike are invited to bring a dish to share and join us at 5:30 p.m. to enjoy a potluck supper with your fellow history lovers.
Following the supper there will be a brief business meeting. In addition to our usual election of trustees and officers, there are two small bylaw revisions for consideration by the membership. We will also take a moment to honor the life members who we have lost this year, including our former Executive Directors Stanley Russell Howe and Randall H. Bennett.
After the meeting we will hear from the second President of the United States, John Adams (aka George Baker). We are very excited to welcome President Adams/George back to MBHS. George presented a wonderful program on Abigail Adams in 2024.
This year, in honor of nation's 250th birthday, he'll be discussing John Adams' role in our nation's founding and his presidency. His presentation is entitled, “Meet John Adams: A Lively and Revolutionary Conversation with America’s Second President.”
(While we'd love to have members and non-members alike join us for supper, you are also welcome to join us around 6:30 p.m. if you'd just like to attend the program.)
We hope to see you there!
