We’ve been having a wonderful time touring local cemeteries. We had great weather and enthusiastic attendees for both of the first two tours at Woodland and Riverside.
For our last two tours we are pleased to be partnering with friends who will be hosting open houses following each one. Check out the Pleasant Valley Commons after the tour at Pine Grove Cemetery on October 18, and join us inside the Middle Intervale Meeting House following the tour of Middle Intervale Cemetery on October 25. There will be cider and snacks at each!
October 18: Pine Grove (West Bethel) with Open House at Pleasant Valley Commons
On Sunday, October 18, join us at Pine Grove Cemetery in West Bethel at 2:00 pm. Since parking on the side of the road is limited here, we’ve been given permission to park next door at Cross Excavation. Please park either near the concrete barriers near the road or next to the office building, not elsewhere on the property.
Following the tour, around 3:15 pm everyone is invited to an open house at the Pleasant Valley Commons. Come inside, warm up, get some cider and a snack, and check out the beautiful job that the owners have done in restoring this historic Grange hall.
October 25: Middle Intervale with Open House at Middle Intervale Meeting House
On Sunday, October 25, at 2:00 pm. we’ll tour the Middle Intervale Cemetery on the Middle Intervale Road.
Join us afterword for a reception in the meeting house, hosted by our friends at the Middle Intervale Meeting House Society.
